Las Huacas Fiscal Year 2024 Financial Report Is Available

As your newly elected team, our goal has been to update our Las Huacas Community Association (LHCA) operations by:

  • Simplifying our financial records (thanks, Eddie Sun, for your support).

  • Automating invoices to make it easier for our contributors.

Our Fiscal Year 2024 ended on June 30, 2024. Our year-end financial information is now available.

We need payment for Fiscal Year 2025 as soon as possible to continue security and finish road maintenance. Homeowners will receive an invoice on July 15.

When we receive Fiscal Year 2025 Road funds, they will go towards drainage infrastructure before the heavy rains commence. Your support is crucial in protecting our investment in the newly asphalted road and adding the much-needed lastre to the unpaved section of the main road. Without your support, we just can’t do this.

New LHCA Vehicle Stickers and Property Signs!

We will be providing LHCA paying members with identification for our guards to aid in surveillance.

  • You will receive a reflective sticker for your car(s) and quads. We have posted a video on our LHCA Instagram account. Please follow @las_huacas if you don’t already.

  • Paying members of LHCA will also receive a sign for their properties—our guards will deliver them and help you install it.

Your Road Maintenance and Security is Ongoing

  • Removed all ICE (electric company) cut branches within three days, just in time before heavy rains.

  • Hired a person to keep the road gutters clean and the vegetation cut back as preventative measures.

  • Possible drainage issues circumvented. A backhoe was used to move debris and soil from two different landslides.

Our security team continues to keep our community safe and helps when called upon.

Community News

Micki and Don Savage are moving. We wish them the very best in their new adventure. For those that aren’t aware, Micki and Don have lived on the hill since 2006. We will miss their attendance at our parties and their sense of humour!

We also say farewell to Jo and Ian MacKenzie. Both were committed to the Nosara

community, and Ian was an active firefighter.

A big thank you to the members of our community who have paid their Road, Security, and Impact fees for Fiscal Year 2024. You are the ones who keep this incredible community thriving!
