Rising Security Concerns in Nosara: Please Pay Your LHCA Security Fees

Many Las Huacas residents and owners are likely aware of the rising security incidents in the Nosara area, which have led to the cancellation this week of both the Festival of Lights (Nosara Brilla 2023) and the Fiestas in January 2024.

What you may not be aware of is that in Las Huacas, we have a large number of residents and owners who have not yet paid their Security fees. As a result, we are short on funds to pay the security guards through the rest of this year. Due to these rising security concerns, the LHCA is also in the process of evaluating our security protocols and making revisions or reinforcements where necessary.

If you are a Las Huacas resident, owner or property manager who has not yet paid Security fees for this year, we ask that you please do so ASAP. Security fees are $1,350 annually. This allows us to staff our incredible guard team, led by Jhonny Briceño, as both roving guards and at the caseta, both night and day. It is necessary for each resident to continue financial support in order to maintain our guard presence and help keep our community safe.
